TRANSPORT IN-CHARGE / ASSISTANT IN-CHARGE

Job Description:

Out of above two post , one must have technical experience for maintenance and another in managing operations & strict control over efficiencies.

Team of duo will be Responsible for Operation and total maintenance of Vehicles - Preventive, Periodical, Breakdown and accidental maintenance.

• Handling accident cases, dealing with Insurance companies and implementing safety measures.
• Coordinating with Road Authorities during the typical Situations.
• Monitoring Diesel Consumption with regular checking of machine parts
• Monitoring the driver’s vehicle movement
• Managing fleet of vehicle and drivers as well as their appointments and discipline.
• Responsible for vehicle arrangement,fuel management and diesel consumption
• Dealing of Legal matters related with the company vehicles and Vendor vehicles.
• Implementing Systems and Procedures to maximize the running of vehicles per months
• Supervision over documentation of Fleet Reports,account statement and records of Head Office.
• Schedule maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability of route vehicles and traffic fleet Plan, coordinate and schedule corporate re-build.
• Planning route schedules & spare parts inventory Management.
• Vendor evaluation and selection, Monitoring of new local & long routes.
• Dealing with Insurance Companies for Accident and Marine Cargo Claims.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

QUALIFICATION:

MUST BE DIPLOMA IN MECH ENGG / AUTOMOBILE ENGG.

SHALL HAVE MIN. 5 YRS EXPERIENCE IN HANDLING FLEET OF 200 VEHICLES.
