Job Description:
Position: Executive/Sr. Executive- EHS
Location: Daman- Diu
Experience: 5- 8 Years
Industries: Pharma
Responsibilities:
- To implement safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines and procedures as set out by the company.
- Periodic review and implementation of EHS strategy and goal.
- Responsible for identification of possible losses; evaluating the risk in such loss exposure; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness.
- Assessment of EHS impacts & risks and investigation of accidents and incidents to avoid reoccurrence.
- Ensure that personnel working in the company are in compliance with company safety policies and legal requirements.
- Compliance with applicable EHS regulatory and statutory legislations.
- Arrangements for minimizing impacts and risks in the plant.
- Hazardous waste management & Environment Monitoring as per statutory requirements.
- To prepare and manage site emergency plan with necessary EHS documents.
- ETP Plant related documentation as per the PCC – Daman requirements.
- Compliance to cGMP & other Audit requirements
- Imparting EHS related training to all employees for safety of plant.
- Developing new SOP’s and strict adherence to all EHS SOP’s and timely revisions for the same.
- Annual planning and budgeting of EHS activities.
- Communication and consulting with employees on EHS matters.
- To ensure the automation projects such as QAMS & DMS software system are in qualified / validated state and also execute these applications related to EHS system.
- Ensure the equipment / instruments / utility services are in qualified / validated / calibrated state.
- Strict compliance to Personal hygiene SOP.
- Strict adherence to EHS.
- Reporting of plant Near miss / unsafe Act / unsafe Condition / accident / incident.
- Any additional work assigned by the HOD.
- To ensure, required initial and continual training system as per recommended training need is in place and is been carried out as per schedule.
- To facilitate , mentor & monitor the desired “Quality Culture” of the EHS team members.
Required Skills :-
- Minimum 5 years of related experience in leading EHS function of Pharma plant.
- Exceptionally strong technical knowledge in the field of environment and sustainability.
- Advance MS Excel, or good knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent communications skills. A high degree of aptitude, creativity is required.
- Should have demonstrated skills in EHS management .
Required Qualification: - Any Graduate+ ADIS/ PDIS
Salary :- Upto 7.00 LPA
