Manager / Senior Manager - Production

Job Description:

? Production Planning - Carry out production planning for entire month, jointly decide with Vice President – Works for daily,
weekly and monthly production based on S&OP in co-ordination with Sales and Marketing.

? Production - Monitor production of products in NBR Polymer Plant, Finishing Line 1, NBR Powder, Polyblend, HSR
Polymer-SBR Polymer-Finishing Line 2 Products, analyze the data & trouble shoot process & quality problems, coordinate
With shared service departments to resolve problems; Follow up of preventive and breakdown maintenance in order to meet
production target & product quality. Follow up with respective plant Production Managers (Area In-Charges) to achieve
required production target and quality.
? Quality & Environment Management Systems - Execute activities in all Production Plants as per defined quality systems;
ensure production related ISO records in order to demonstrate compliance to organization’s quality and environment
management systems.
? Process Improvement - Analyze the process data related to production plant in order to improve the process. Co-ordinate
with R&D for Product Improvements and Scale Ups.
? Safety, Housekeeping & Environment - Ensure proper housekeeping of shop floor and adherence to safety norms.
? People Management - Monitor performance, identify and provide training to Production Team in order to improve
employee’s performance.
? Maintenance - Follow up of breakdown records of production plants and inform abnormalities/ breakdowns to maintenance
department in order to ensure operation of equipments are as per procedures.
? LSS & Kaizen –Monitor LSS projects and Kaizen activities and implement action plans.
? Energy Saving –Based on Data obtained, contribute to energy savings projects in order to meet optimum utilization of
resources like fuel, electricity and water.
