SCM Assistant Manager
Job Description:
Providing vehicle plan & Schedule for every part for every month along with tentative for next two months which help for better planning at supplier end.
Weekly requirement plan is distributed to suppliers for critical components.
Ensure availability of raw material at supplier end so that it could not affect daily production.
Monitoring daily in-warding and tracking schedule v/s receipt.
Maintaining records of quality issues faced and their occurance.
Updating MIS on monthly as well as daily, it will help to track progress on timely basis.
Continuous follow up with suppliers and transporters till receipt of material at plant.
Focus on packing standard of every part so that it will inward without any damage in transit. Material should reach at our end in proper Plastic Bins or Basket as per specified packing standard.
To check quality issue found in Assembly for bought out items, immediate action taken so that it will not repeat in next lots.
Regarding any engineering changes discussion with QA, R & D & with supplier to adopt these changes within shortest possible time.
To ensure timely delivery of Spare Parts schedule and IDK (Both Customer & after Market).
Coordinated objectives and scheduled material flow with other departments.
Direct responsibility for inventory control.
