Job Description:
Objective: 
 
 
 
The Supply Associate manages and supports all activities pertaining to the Category & Supply function including sourcing, price negotiations and seller/distributor relationship management.
 
Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Develop materials category metrics and supply chain
  • Responsible for seller  activation, sale and gross margins
  • Responsible for closure of orders by coordinating with sales team and plants
  • Responsible for order management and order fulfillment
  • Build & maintain strong, long-lasting seller relationships
  • Co-own along with sales team & hit/exceed monthly business targets for the assigned sellers
  • Identify issues by working closely with the seller and resolve them promptly
  • Understand market dynamics of the assigned region and effectively communicate to the management
 
QUALIFICATION :
  • Experience meeting customer needs, building customer relationships and knack for closing sales  
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills  
  • Self-starter and driven  
  •  Language Skills: fluent in English and local language .
  •  Knowledge of sales principles and practices. 
  •  Customer service Acumen. 
  •  Desire to exceed growth, and working in a fast paced environment.
  • Preferably with exposure in building material
  • Understanding on 1st leg & last leg delivery
  • Identify & onboard sellers across building material categories in applicable markets (for both Homes & Construct)
  • Provide market intelligence on suppliers & pricing inputs across each category
  • Coordinate 1st leg & last mile delivery along with ops team / updates to local sellers
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
  •  Our preference will be candidates from steel background primarily otherwise with similar commodities exposure
  •  This will be a field job and the candidate has to visit the suppliers as and when needed 
  •  Prior experience of seller negotiations, issue resolution and understanding of operational requirements is a must
