JD for CEOs:

The CEO reports to the Management and works closely to support other functional leaders in the company, including exploring and developing new business opportunities. 

The CEO is responsible for developing and directing the operations of the organization. 

• Location: Ahmedabad

Key Requirements:

• At least 20 years of experience in an Engineering or related business (open to looking from other Sectors if person is seasoned and adept at handling overall business ops)
• Proven track record in the Operations and managing multiple operations, sites and departments
  • Direct the operations of the organization to meet the budget and financial targets
  • Provide technical direction and guidance, as well as hands-on operations management for all programs.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing systems, policies, processes and MIS 
  • Good understanding of process improvement and optimization tools and techniques
• Strong Project management, Resource Planning and financial management and budgeting skills
• Experience in Business Development and Key Stakeholder management
• Ability to participate and contribute to the development of corporate strategy and business unit strategy - translate the corporate strategy into actionable operations plan and execute it
  • Strong ability to balance between long-term and short-term objectives
• Sound team building and line management skills 
  • Establish performance goals, KPIs and responsibility matrix for the operations
  • Recruit, lead, motivate, mentor and coach senior management team to develop a high performing organization
• Excellent inter-personal communication, verbal, written and influencing skills
• Education background in Engineering is a must; Business degree is an added advantage
