Roles and Responsibilities
| Mold Maintenance Engineer | Male | 1 | 5 to 6 | CIPET in Plastic mold technology or Diploma in tool and die making. |
- Competency to design, troubleshoot prepare specifications and verify the design for molding tools
- Vendor Management skills for tool manufacturing, design and tool correction / modification.
- Knowledge on continuous improvement in Tooling to achieve cost reduction / optimization.
- Capability to maintain the tools with preventive maintenance
- Maintenance of Tools by planning periodic / preventive maintenance, analyzing the failures and maintaining the tracker.
- Day to day interactions / visits with vendors for trouble shootings, quality & delivery issues and monitor the vendor performance.
- Tracking and Maintenance of Spares
- Problem-solving skills for Plastics, Casting & Sheet metal complexities using 7QC tools
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure all stock items, tool inserts and spares are maintained to upkeep the molds & to reduce MTTR,
- Manage the Tooling Life efficiently and optimize the tooling cost
- Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the Improvement
- Drive the continuous improvement projects to achieve VA/VE Targets.

Looking Diploma (Plastics/Injection Molding/Tool & Die) Candidates with 6+ years of Experience in Mold Maintenance department in the Industries like Appliances // Engineering / Plastics.
