Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations.

To ensure success as a Business Development Executive, you should have strong knowledge of technical and scientific products, a passion for sales, and the ability to travel. Ultimately, a top-class Technical Business Development Executive drives business by understanding the needs of the client and providing them with the right product choices.

  • Visiting clients for gathering information and understanding client requirements.
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Partner with technical teams to create contract-winning proposals for the clients.
  • Traveling to the customer's location for pitching.
  • Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news.
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining databases (Salesforce, Pipedrive, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
  • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration and preparing time-to-time reports. 

2. Preferred Qualifications: 

Preference will be given to the incumbent, who possesses ANY ONE the following qualification: 

  • B.Tech / B.E. - Mechanical/Chemical with relevant sales experience.

  • B.Tech/BE in any stream with relevant tech sales experience.
  • Graduation in any discipline with sales experience in the XR industry.

 

 

    1. Skill Requirements:
    • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
    • Previous experience in sales profile.
    • Excellent, articulate and persuasive communication (oral and written) skills.
    • Strong technical knowledge. 
    • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Professional and friendly demeanor.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software.
    • Ability to meet sales targets.
    • Ability & willing to travel.

    4. Transferable (Soft) Skills Requirements:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
    • Coordination, result-oriented planning and team-working skills.
    • Excellent time, task, and self-work management skills.
    • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients.
    • Engage in challenging assignments by taking ownership.
