Technical Writer

Job Description:

• Produce and write technical documentation, including, but not limited to software functional requirements/design documents, user guides, FAQs/ Help Guides, API/SDK documentation, workflow design diagrams,  reference manuals, product updates, release notes, and website content.
• Gather documentation requirements for documentation from US and India stakeholders.
• Support documentation for critical requirements and design meetings
• Collaborate with analysts, account managers, testers, developers, engineers, and executives to learn and acquire information about the methods, processes, or procedures for documentation.
• Research and investigate domain topics to support content development.
• Learn our product, solution, methods, best practice standards, and industry to produce meaningful content.
• Produce deliverables for the intended audiences with the right level of detail to meet deadlines.
• Create documentation using visual aids to deliver content in the best manner to increase the audience’s understanding, using diagrams, charts, tables, and graphics, as necessary.
• Create simple visually appealing documentation with great attention to detail, style, formatting, and graphics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3+ years of related experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field required.
• Strong command of the English language with strong grammar skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Ability to edit and proofread the work of colleagues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including EXCEL, Outlook, TEAMS, Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft technology
• Experience with web technologies: HTML, CSS,  JavaScript. .NET, Azure
• Experience with US Healthcare and/or Insurance industry knowledge would be a plus.
