VMware Engineer
A VMware Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the virtual infrastructure using VMware products. The typical job responsibilities of a VMware Engineer include:
Designing, deploying, and maintaining virtual infrastructure using VMware products such as vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
Configuring and managing virtual networks, storage, and servers.
Monitoring and troubleshooting virtual infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
Planning and executing software upgrades and patches.
Implementing security policies and disaster recovery procedures.
Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate virtual infrastructure with other systems.
Providing technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience with VMware technologies, knowledge of virtualization best practices, and a solid understanding of server, storage, and network technologies. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, along with certifications in VMware technologies.
