Job Description:

 

Position:    Assistant Manager- Maintenance

Location:     Dadra Nagar Haveli-Silvassa

Experience:   3-5 YEARS

Industries:    Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance and production work spaces are kept clean and de cluttered, in accordance with 5S standards
  • Planning for flowmeter tank and weighing scale calibrations for the month ahead and conducting the calibrations as per plans 
  • Preparation of preventive maintenance plans for the year ahead and conduct monthly preventive maintenance of machines as per plan 
  • Follow up with vendors of machines to ensure machines are being well maintained in accordance with AMC schedule
  • Ensure all maintenance requirements and breakdowns are attended to in a timely manner by Maintenance team 
  • Conduct a root cause analysis of recurring breakdowns to resolve issue and ensure continuous co-ordination with production team for the same 
  • Ensure regular modifications and renewal of machinery to achieve maximum productivity from the machine 
  • Analyse loss of production of products by studying Yield Report from SAP and provide solutions for the issues
  • Understand requirements of new machines from production team, and contact vendor to procure and install new machines
  • Prepare a work space plan for new RND projects and coordinate for hardware and machinery requirements with vendors 
  • Creation of indent in SAP for any spare parts and materials required for production
  • Ensure accuracy of all entries made in SAP by maintenance team 
  • Ensure all raw materials and packing materials are continuously available after follow up with production team 
  • Plan and adjust production schedules to meet customer requirements on time 
  • Conduct quality control programs for production team to ensure appropriate compliance to health and safety measures 
  • Ensure appropriate measurement and labelling of finished goods before dispatch

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech-Mechanical
