Import export documentation knowledge
o Responsible for preparing error free Export documentation and executing timely shipment.
o Handling pre and Post shipment documentation.
o Export certification required for SAFTA, APTA, REX etc.
o Preparation of shipping documents meeting the Letter of Credit terms & condition and submission.
o Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations for Export Shipment.
o Co-ordination with Third Party Inspection for Export orders.
o Preparation of documentation of Deemed Export Transaction.
o Obtaining GR Waiver certificate for Re-Export Transaction for Return of rejection, rectification, testing/calibration, free samples, warranty replacement etc. and submission of documents for timely closure.
o Handling the Exports under various incentive schemes.
o Handling Third Country / Cross Country Shipments.
o Controlling and negotiation of Freight charges.
o Maintain rapport with inter departments.
o Liaison with Customs, DGFT, Bank and OGB (Other Govt Bodies) ensuring that the company's Export transactions comply with all statutory norms laid down by these agencies.
o Maintaining & Building relationship with Customs House Agents, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines, Transporters and Insurance Agents etc.
o Take initiatives for digitalisation of Export data for more transparency and quick sharing of accurate data.
o Monitoring & guiding the CHAs to improve their performance to comply with Customs rules & Regulations and FTA requirement.
o Meeting self service levels by adhering to the agreed TAT and pay special focus on cost reduction.
