Job Description:

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist to build the pricing and product model
  • Assist to manage the end-to-end workflow requirements of the pricing and product
  • Assist to manage the end-to-end workflow requirements of the e-billing run process
  • Resolve and assist any pricing, product, and billing inquiries or problem-solving in a timely manner
  • Cross-analyzing data to identify any variations of usages, charges, and other potential revenue leakage points via consolidation, reconciliation, validation, and correction of data
  • Ensure all maintenance and continuous improvement of KPIs relating to all areas of pricing, product, and billing.
  • Be a customer focus driven in all aspects of the role
  • Identify and assist implementation changes to increase process efficiencies and improvements, including scoping documents for system development

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: 

  • Appropriate tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline: IT, Engineering, and Finance 
  • Understanding and experience of the Australian electricity market
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of price and risk management in a regulated industry

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar product/price/revenue/billings/data analyst position
  • IT, Engineering, or Finance study background with 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Energy industry experience with exposure across multiple facets of the energy market advantageous

  • Strong Financial and Commercial acumen
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Combine strategic thinking with superior attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to interpret business needs and clearly articulate the problem statement and required solution
  • An eye for continuous improvement with an ability to improve business practices to achieve higher performance levels
  • Ability to engender positive and collaborative relationships with departmental Managers and wider business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organizational and engagement skills with the ability to influence stakeholder
