Material Co-ordinator (Fixed Term Contract)
Job Description:
Job Purpose
Responsible for supervision, monitoring and execution of day to day Construction activities with quality and safety for the assigned job. Also responsible for effective coordination with the contractors to achieve the target in time and effective utilization of available resources.
Job Accountabilities– Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinating with other department to ensure that order are places on time, materials are delivered on time and material are stored properly
- Reviewing material samples in order to determine which products will be used in construction run.
- Monitoring material inventory to ensure that the correct amount of material are on hand at all times.
- Ordering new material when inventory is low or when material is no longer usable due to defects or damage.
- Checking incoming material for any defects or flow that may need to be addressed prior use in manufacturing
- Maintain Clean, safe working department

Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
- E-Civil with 5+ years’ experience in material management / handling
- Strong problem solving and decision making abilities
Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with clients and internally.
