Production Planning and Control
Job Description:
Production Planning - Preparing monthly production for Finished goods (CV-PSR & TBR Tyre), to meet the sales requirement, based on sales order/Forecast from different sales channels
- Capacity planning - work on plant capacity, DE-bottleneck based on product-mix changes, Layout design & modification.
- Stock planning for multiple line up, to ensure superior service level (100%)
- Production prioritization and co-ordination with LS-CM & sales
- Proactive approach in planning and ensure no sale losses
- Inventory control, Safety stock planning etc.
- Procurement Planning for accessories (Moulds and tooling) Develop and circulate the effective MIS in order to maintain updated information system
- Process Improvements in Production planning
- Production monitoring and take corrective steps in case of production/ Sale variations
- Quality systems- Maintaining and updating quality systems and procedures, audits
- Work on Replenishment model, work on norms, coordinate with plant and ensure utilization of the tool
-Budgeting process & knowledge of costing
