Filling Machine Operator - Carbonated Soft Drink Factory in Nairobi, Kenya

Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Filling Machine Operator to join our client having carbonated soft drink factory in Kenya.

The Filling Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining fully automatic filling machines, ensuring efficient and smooth production processes.

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role and be capable of handling all aspects of running the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate fully automatic filling machines for carbonated soft drinks, ensuring accurate and efficient filling processes.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production rates and product quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of filling machines to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address any issues promptly.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, machine performance, and any issues encountered.
• Collaborate with other plant staff, including supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless production operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues related to the filling machines.
• Assist in training new operators and providing guidance on best practices and machine operation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Filling Machine Operator in a carbonated soft drink or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of fully automatic filling machines and their operation.
• Ability to work on all aspects of running a plant, including machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high product quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualification - Diploma or BE Mechanical Engineering

Salary up to 8.40 LPA INR depending upon candidates experience and current salary.
