Job Description:

Their role combines administrative and clinical responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of patient care. This role involves supervising and supporting clinical staff, optimizing workflow and resource allocation, and collaborating with other departments to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate clinical personnel, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and competencies.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote staff development.
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among clinical staff members.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical department, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to protocols, and timely delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., nursing, finance, human resources) to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality patient care, maintaining patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction, address complaints or concerns, and implement strategies to enhance the patient experience.
  • Participate in clinical rounds, case conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate care coordination and continuity.
  • Stay updated on relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., HIPAA, Joint Commission).
  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance programs, monitor performance indicators, and address deficiencies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., Nursing, Healthcare Administration )and  Master's degree in Healthcare Administration is must.
  • Current licensure/certification as required for the specific clinical area (e.g., Registered Nurse, Medical Technologist).
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, demonstrating strong managerial and organizational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical operations, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to effectively lead a team, promote collaboration, and manage conflicts.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare information systems and other relevant software applications.
