Job Description:

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to join our team in the FMCG, Food, and Snack industry. The Dispatch Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the efficient dispatch and distribution of products, ensuring timely delivery to customers while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate must have experience in logistics and dispatch operations, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate multiple shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dispatch strategies and plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Plan and schedule dispatch activities, including route planning, vehicle allocation, and driver assignments.
- Coordinate with transport providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery, resolve any issues or delays, and provide timely updates to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring high service levels and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage and optimize dispatch processes and systems, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as necessary.
- Prepare and analyze dispatch performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to evaluate operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation, including permits, licenses, and documentation.
- Train and supervise dispatch team members, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the dispatch department.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in dispatch and logistics operations, preferably in the FMCG, Food, or Snack industry.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, including route planning, transportation modes, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and transportation laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in transportation.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
