Job Profile

• Responsible for operating Main Plant & Auxiliary systems using DCS Panel and Control Room MIMIC Panels.
• Should have knowledge in Emergency handling including Blackout.
• Should have experience in monitoring equipment operations through routine observation, recording & evaluation of data.

Qualification

• BE / B Tech from a recognized university.
• PG Diploma from NPTI (or) BOE Certificate is mandatory

Years of Experience

• 6 to 10 years in Thermal Power Plant capacity of 500 MW (single unit) or more in handling BTG Desk Operation activities for BE/BTech.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in handling Desk Operation activities at Thermal Power Plants with minimum 300 MW (single unit) capacity or more for NPTI or BOE Certificate.

Specific Skills 

• Responsible for operating Main Plant & Auxiliary Systems using DCS Panel & Control Room MIMIC Panels.
• Should have the knowledge in Emergency handling including Blackout.
• Should have experience in monitoring equipment operations through routine observation, recording & evaluation of data.
• Should have worked in Boiler, Turbine, Generator areas only
• Must know the principles of electricity and mechanics and the operating functions of power plant equipment.
• Must know the procedures for starting, stopping, controlling and isolating plant equipment during emergencies and for repairs.
• Must have knowledge of SAP operation.
