Job description Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Senior Executive to join our organisation and oversee the HR operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR, including liaisoning, policy development, and implementation within the manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to navigate complex organisational structures. Responsibilities: 1. HR Policy Development and Implementation: - Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures specific, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations. - Regularly review and update HR policies to align with organizational objectives and industry best practices. - Communicate policies effectively to all employees and provide guidance on policy interpretation. 2. Employee Relations and Liaisoning: - Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters within the manufacturing units. - Promote positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on HR-related issues. - Establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders, including labor unions, government agencies, and local authorities. 3. Talent Acquisition and Retention: - Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for the manufacturing units. - Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and on boarding of new employees. - Develop and implement retention strategies to attract and retain top talent within the manufacturing units. 4. Performance Management: - Design and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans. - Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters, including performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions. - Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing employee productivity. 5. Training and Development: - Identify training needs within the manufacturing units and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver training sessions on various HR-related topics. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make necessary adjustments as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred. - Proven experience as an HR professional, with at least 5 years of experience in a senior HR role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting. - Strong knowledge of local labour laws, regulations, and employment practices. - Experience in liaising with external stakeholders, including labor unions and government agencies. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. - Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a team effectively. - Proficient in HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and other HR-related software. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex and sensitive issues. - High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
