Main Accountabilities:
Performance.
•Following HSE standards
•100% compliance of preventive and predictive maintenance ensuring zero break down.
•100% support to emergency services.
Responsibilities
•Responsible for maintenance of hot rolling mill area.
•Day to day activity planning, manpower planning, materials planning and implementation of central maintenance plan. Execution of preventive, scheduled, shutdown maintenance activities and emergency services.
•Daily log book maintaining.
•Training and developing of work force
Knowledge
•Uses of HSE equipment effectively.
•Technical knowledge - Engineering drawing study, hydraulics, fits and tolerances, bearing, gearboxes, universal shafts etc, Documentation of complete activities
•Mechanical — Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
•Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
•Heavy duty rolling mill equipments Hydraulic , Lubrication and Pneumatic system,
•Knowledge in SAP plant maintenance module, material management, inventory control, machining, TPM, ISO9000 & ISO14000 is preferable.
Requirements
•Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•4-6 years of Relevant experience in mechanical maintenance in steel industry.
•Abilities to enhance the production process to escalate productivity & operational efficiencies.
•A keen communicator with honed problem solving and analytical ability.
•Follow up with purchase department for the timely execution of planned works.
•Implementation of standard maintenance procedures.
•Spares planning.
•Statistical and Analytical analysis of breakdowns & to carry out subsequent modifications to reduce the frequencies of breakdowns.
