ASST. MANAGER MECHANICAL FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY - STEEL BILLETS/TMT BARS - GUJARAT

• Team Leadership & Supervision:

  Manage, train, and supervise a team of maintenance personnel or technical staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow. 

   
• Maintenance & Operations:

  Oversee the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime. 

   
• Preventive Maintenance:

  Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and longevity. 

   
• Troubleshooting & Technical Support:

  Provide technical guidance and support to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and ensure proper repairs and upkeep. 

   
• Project Management:

  Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical projects, including new installations, overhauls, and facility development activities. 

   
• Safety & Compliance:

  Ensure all mechanical operations and activities comply with relevant health, safety, environmental, and industry standards. 

   
• Quality Assurance:

  Implement and monitor quality standards for internal and external work, including ensuring the quality of purchased parts. 

   
• Resource & Cost Management:

  Manage parts inventory, assist in procurement, monitor operating costs, and ensure effective allocation of resources. 

   
• Continuous Improvement:

  Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance processes, system designs, and overall operational efficiency. 

   

• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, diesel generators, and maintenance procedures. 
   
• Leadership & Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and guide a technical team. 
   
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical and operational issues effectively. 
   
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with team members, management, and other departments. 
   
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze performance data, troubleshoot problems, and make informed decisions. 
   
• Project Management: Experience in managing project schedules, resources, and budgets. 
   
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS): Proficiency in using CMMS for maintenance planning and tracking.
