Job Description:

We are looking for professional English language content writers who can write articles in tech niche (electronic gadgets) with in-depth research.

As a writer at our company, you'll be writing articles for our web properties. You'll mostly be writing about consumer electronics such as smartphones, refrigerators, televisions. Basically, the topics will vary every single day, one day it could be about a sofa, the next day it could be about an Air conditioners. You don't have to be an expert in any single field, but should be research oriented, so that you can research about various things about a topic you're given and be able to explain it to the readers whom you won't be directly interacting with. Occasionally, you'll also work on research methodologies that can make your content highly insightful, this skill could really be helpful when you get into senior content writing.

Like you see, the topics can go in different categories, one could be about an air conditioner, the very next topic could be about an Air purifier, and then it could be about VPN service, etc. You surely, don't have to be an expert in all fields, but should able to research well, and come up with your versions of the articles and make them better than the sites that have already posted!

English Requirements:

You should know the difference between Active voice and passive voice.You should know the difference between terms like "there" and "their" etc. You should know where to use "were" and where to use "where"You should know the usage of punctuations such as full stop, comma, exclamation marks, oxford comma, brackets, semicolon, etc.You should be able to write 2000-3000 words/day.

Other Requirements:

Meeting Deadlines without compromising the Quality: Ability to produce error free articles that aren't copied from elsewhere and meet deadlines. (Mostly 6 hrs of work for 3,000 words + 2 hrs for research.)

Professionalism: You'll be using - Trello, clockify, and other tools to stay in loop with other team members such as graphics designer, site admin, project manager, etc.

High level research: Your research won't end by just making a search for a query, but it'll be doing multiple searches, studying multiple sources, finding the most accurate data points, and a lot of other things which you'll be trained for.

Fast learner: We don't expect you to be an expert at everything (because no one is) but we do want you to be a fast learner and learn things quickly.

Tools: WordPress Editor (You don't have to be a coder), Microsoft Office, Google Search, Google Docs, Google Sheets/Excel.On-Page SEO knowledge - You don't have to be an SEO expert, but knowing about search intent, being able to find out the intent of the search query, creating content based on the intent, optimising it well (You'll be trained if you don't know much.)
