Job Purpose:

- The incumbent will design and execute various HR initiatives in alignment with organizational objectives. He/she will be responsible for driving the performance management and talent management & succession planning framework.

 - He/she will also be responsible for interventions towards leadership development, employee engagement as well any other new initiatives and projects. Understanding the organization's culture and effective management of internal stakeholders will be imperative for this role holder's success.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that are aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.

Manage the entire talent acquisition process, including developing job descriptions, recruitment plans, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Oversee employee relations, including resolving conflicts, handling grievances, conducting investigations, and implementing disciplinary actions when necessary, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application across the organization and full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Manage performance appraisal systems and provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on performance-related matters.

Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, benefits administration, and payroll processing, in collaboration with the finance department.

Identify training needs and develop and monitor training and development programs and initiatives for staff at all levels.

Maintain accurate HR records and manage HR Information Systems (HRIS) and databases.

Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Coordination

Schedule Management: Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for internal teams or external vendors, ensuring all areas of the facility meet established cleanliness standards.

Inspection & Reporting: Conduct routine administrative walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs or cleanliness issues and log maintenance requests promptly.

Vendor Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for external cleaning vendors, verifying service delivery and processing associated invoices accurately.

Security Coordination

Access Control Administration: Manage administrative tasks related to building access, including processing new employee badge requests, deactivating terminated access, and maintaining accurate access logs.

Visitor Management: Oversee the visitor sign-in process, ensuring all guests are properly logged, issued temporary badges, and escorted as necessary.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, daily activity logs, and key audits. Assist with preparing incident reports for management review.

Liaison: Coordinate administrative needs between building management, internal security teams, and external security contractors.

General Administrative Support

Communication: Facilitate effective communication between department leads and staff regarding facility updates, policy changes, and safety protocols.

Meeting Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes for facilities, safety, and security meetings.

Record Keeping: Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for all relevant contracts, compliance documents, schedules, and reports.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Proven working experience as an HR Manager or relevant senior HR role, with demonstrable experience in managing the full HR function.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software/HRIS.
