Job Description:
Job Summary:
- As an HR Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the human resources department and ensuring the efficient and effective management of various HR functions. You will be responsible for assisting with recruitment and selection processes, employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and maintaining accurate HR records. The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
- Only Female candidates can apply
- Assist in developing job descriptions and job advertisements.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
- Conduct initial resume screening and schedule interviews.
- Assist in conducting background checks and reference checks.
- Support the new employee orientation process.
- Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Prepare and process new hire paperwork, including employment contracts and offer letters.
- Coordinate with IT and other relevant departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment and access.
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
Benefits Administration:
- Assist with benefits enrolment and changes.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits.
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
Employee Relations:
- Assist with resolving employee concerns and conflicts.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive employee relations and foster a respectful work environment.
HR Records and Systems:
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
- Generate HR reports and analyze data as required.
Compliance and Policy:
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Keep up-to-date with employment laws and regulations.
- Ensure HR practices are compliant with legal requirements.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and workshops.
- Assist in organizing employee development initiatives.
- Collaborate with managers to identify training needs and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in HR or related roles.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficient in HRIS and other HR software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
