Job Description:

Position:         PMC Planner

Location:         Daman

Experience:     4 -7  Years

Industries:      FMCG

Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for preparing Weekly, Monthly production plan (Short term planning) and Medium term production plan. Monitor Status of the orders in the production plan.
  • Guarantees a manufacturing sequence that optimizes the production in terms of inputs’ use (machines, resources, materials), balancing capacity and resources.
  • Manpower planning for next week and forecasting for next two months.
  • Responsible for Scheduling Production Orders to meet Customer Requirements. -Manages priorities in close contact with the Customer Service. Should proactively flag off demands which cannot be fulfilled.
  • Responsible for creating Purchase Orders in line with agreed Minimum Order levels and supplier lead time, timely sharing of forecasts to Vendors
  • Follows the order in every phase, ensuring the correct delivery both in terms of time and in terms of quantity by timely follow up with Internal Stake holders.
  • Monitors the suppliers’ performance, fostering a continuous improvement process.
  • Lead time review and management. Supplier capacity review highlight the issues.
  • Supports the organization in achieving the company’s objectives of maximum material availability and minimal inventory level.
  • Regular Monitoring of Safety Stock levels.
  • Smooth transition with minimal inventory during Phase In/Phase Out of Products. Proactively managing exception messages.
  • Sharing projected left overs (Remnant) to customer relationship team
  • Ensure timely clearance of obsolete material
  • Continual improvement in reduction of Non Moving and Slow moving inventory

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficient use of modern IT ERP/MRP/MPS systems. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Planning techniques (MTS, ATO, MTO, kanban, etc.),
  • Lean production, six sigma knowledge are added advantage.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficient in Excel along with basic knowledge of Word, Power point, outlook etc.
  • Analytical skills (including data collection, analysis and review etc);
  • Fosters a continuous improvement of the relevant processes.
  • Cross-functional communication. Involvement of correct stakeholders before taking any decision.
  • Proactive support in issue resolution (internal and external);

 

Required Qualification: - BE/B.Tech -Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 5.00 LPA
