Job Description:

Job Purpose:

The Pharma Sales & Marketing In-charge will promote and sell the company's medical products and services to healthcare professionals and institutions. The main goal of the Pharma Sales & Marketing In-charge is to ensure that the company's products are effectively marketed and sales targets are achieved through effective communication, strong relationship building and customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions, and key decision-makers within assigned territory.
  • Writing reports and other documents.
  • Generate sales leads and create a pipeline of prospects to deliver quarterly and yearly sales targets.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the company's products to healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and communicating solutions to the customer.
  • Continuously gather market intelligence, evaluate trends, and competitor activities to formulate and implement strategies for achieving sales and marketing objectives.
  • Accurately forecast sales and assist in the development of selling strategies and promotional campaigns.
  • Work closely with other departments like the product development team, customer service team, and logistics team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of the products.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and training sessions to keep up-to-date with industry trends and the company's products.
  • Selling the company's medications to doctors, pharmacists, and other relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Scheduling appointments with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote company medications.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of company medications.
  • Building and maintaining good business relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases. Following up on leads generated by the company.
  • Preparing presentations for potential customers.
  • Researching competitor’s medications and their respective market performances.
  • Keeping abreast of new developments in the medical field to determine the effect of such developments on the company's business strategies.
  • Identifying and establishing new business.
  • Negotiating contracts, demonstrating or presenting products to healthcare staff including doctors, nurses and pharmacists.
  • Undertaking relevant research, meeting both the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining detailed records. Attending and organizing trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Managing budgets. Reviewing sales performance. Writing reports and other documents.
  • Ability to take a challenge. Be willing to work hard.

  • Ability to give the right information to the right doctors.
  • Should be able to Pursue customers. Should be well accepted by customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field ( B.Sc. Pharmacy, Biology and Life Sciences).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a medical sales and marketing role.
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare institutions, professionals and patients in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Good understanding of regulatory compliance and ethical practices in the medical industry.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Frequent travel to customer sites.
  • Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • May require irregular work schedules and long work hours depending on sales events or customer needs.
  • Occasional lifting of medical products or equipment may be required.
