Job Description:

Job Purpose:

? Support business strategy to achieve sales targets and pro-actively expand current/new market

? Plan and manage sales activities towards targeted customers in identified market segments.

? Support marketing activities between the company and the Region.

? Ensure high efficiency of the allocated resources to realize higher sales achievements.

 

Key Responsibilities:


? Ensuring the fulfillment of financial goals and objectives through formulation, implementation and
follow-up on strategic business plan.
? Ensuring that sales targets are met and sales prices are optimized in accordance with the plan
proposed and approved by the management.
? Ensuring that the fixed expenses and variable expenses are to be on or below the approved
budget.
? Ensuring conceptual and practical sales management and sales activities. Execute sales and
marketing plan effectively in the region to grow our business and improve profitability.
? Managing sales team to deal with customers in the region effectively. Ensure greater customer
interaction and Sales team spends quality time in market in developing new customers and
increasing business with the existing ones.
? Promote entire range of products in market to improve sustainability.
? Developing and train staff to meet company’s objectives.
? Continuously develop favourable relationships with external customers –Dealers, End users and
influencers like Painters and Painting contractors and provide value-add services.
? Maintaining high level of communication with cross-functional departments and associates.

Cross-Functional Relations:
? All departments including key functions like Supply Chain, Technical, Finance and HR.

Required Education, Skills & Experience:
? Degree in a Science/commerce plus 8 – 10 or above years of Sales experience in selling
industrial paints through the dealer network.
? Possesses good interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and customers
? Self Motivated and possess drive
? Knowledge of Paint market in Northern Region.
? Fluent in local language/dialects. Able to communicate in English (both written and spoken).
? Computer literate including MS Office and be able to make business presentations to customer
and Management.
? Handling and coordinate with all Branches of Marigold Paints.

 

Key Performance Indicators: ? Achieving Sales Budget and Sales Growth target both in Volume and Value. ? Control Debtors / outstanding & receivables management ? Improve Gross Margins. ? Increase Market Share. ? Expanding Dealer Network- Develop New Dealers in existing and new geographies. ? Control of Rebate and discounts. ? Control Operating expenses. ? Inventory Management in Depots and control of Non Moving and Slow Moving Stocks. ? Lunch New Products, conduct and demonstrate trials of the products. ? Attend to customers’ complaints and increase customer satisfaction.
