Job Description:

Job Summary: The Finance Manager will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities of our cashew company. They will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will work closely with the CFO and other departments to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with company goals and industry trends.
    • Analyze financial data, market trends, and operational performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the management team.
  2. Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations and strategic investments.
    • Implement cash flow forecasting and optimization strategies.
  3. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Cost Management:

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures without compromising quality.
    • Analyze production costs and recommend improvements.
  5. Risk Management:

    • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
    • Monitor and manage financial exposure, including currency exchange risks if applicable.
  6. Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor finance department staff, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
  7. Financial Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and other relevant laws and regulations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
  8. Financial Systems and Technology:

    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems to streamline financial processes.
    • Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
