Job Description:

ETP / ZLD / Environmental Executive – Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day operation and monitoring of ETP, STP, RO, MEE/ATFD and ZLD systems.
• Monitor pH, COD, BOD, TSS and TDS to ensure effective wastewater treatment and treated-water reuse.
• Coordinate with Production and Utilities teams for effluent segregation, high-COD load control and wastewater management.
• Manage the Hazardous Waste Storage Area, including segregation, labeling, safe handling and disposal through authorized agencies/TSDF.
• Maintain Hazardous Waste Manifests, inventory, disposal records and statutory registers.
• Ensure compliance with GPCB/CPCB requirements, CCA/CTO conditions and applicable Environmental Rules.
• Prepare and maintain statutory returns, Environment Statement, waste records, monitoring reports and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring, sampling, laboratory analysis, GPCB inspections and environmental audits.
• Maintain ISO 14001 documentation, legal compliance trackers and Environmental MIS.
• Conduct routine environmental inspections and support pollution control, waste minimization, water conservation and environmental improvement initiatives.
