Job Description:

Position Title: QA Senior Manager

Qualification: B.E (Mech.)/ BE (Polymers) / Diploma in Plastic Tech.
Experience : 15+ yrs
Job Location: Hosur

Grade: M1
Position would be reporting to: Works Manager / Unit Head

Industry: Plastic Extrusion / Tyres / Rubber / Engineering / Automobile

He will be handing all the QA activities for Hosur Unit, Chennai & Hosur Fabrication Units. 


Job Description:


1. Quality approval of all incoming and outgoing materials
2. Responsible for all quality issues related to plant as well as conversion / fabrication units.
3. Handling customer complaint related to all quality issues
4. Approval of finished product with proper traceability of authorized person
5. Standardization of Inspection Control Plan / Manual for all Incoming Raw Materials and finished product and revision of same
6. Ensure information and awareness of all concerned person regarding new product / customer approval
7. To upkeep all customer complaints and analysis record for improvement in the plant.
8. Conduct CAPA for all the quality & system related issues in the plant & intimate to U.H
9. Display of standard specification in all the working area
10. Standardization and revision of product manual for customer approval
11. Preparation of analysis report against all NCs and feedback to sectional head / Plant Manager / Unit Head.
12. Timely calibration of all equipment’s, gauge, controllers, Weighing Balance available in the Plant.
13. Update and maintain all the product specifications manufacturing in the plant.
14. To ensure all the products manufactured as per the set standards and specification.
15. Coordination with R and D / Marketing for New Product Development ISO 9001 Activities
16. To ensure implementation of ISO 9001:2015 system and procedure in all functional areas of the plant. Issue of NC's and maintain the records for action plan.
17. Stabilizing quality management systems
18. To ensure implementation of SPC techniques in various functional area of the plant for focused improvement.
19. Ensure operation of all testing equipment in the dept. ISO 17025 - Quality Manager
20. Stabilizing Laboratory management systems - ISO 17025 and its effectiveness in the lab

JOB DESCRIPTION

21. Liasioning with NABL as and when required.
22. Report in all deviation related to laboratory management systems(LMS) to the U.H and take CA
23. Coordinate for interlaboratory and proficiency test related with LMS
24. Ensure calibration of all the laboratory equipment’s from NABL Accredited agency.
25. Documentation of ASTM / IS Std / customer sample / customer standard for reference.


5S Activities
26. To ensure the implementation of 5S activities.


Departmental
27. Assessment of employees performance of QA Dept through KRA and report back to Plant Manager
28. Preparation of JD for QA team and its review
