Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE
With guidance from supervisor, engineers, and/or engineer techs, interprets information from sales order thru design which includes: use of standard Plant drawings, component drawings, assembly drawings, item masters, part specifications, and bills of materials necessary for manufacturing our product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation drawings in primary CAD programs.
- Create product structures for installation prints
- Assists sales team, applications engineering and internal teams with drafting and technical support
- Maintain, reinforce, and update CAD standard policies for Applications engineering.
- 3D Drawings - Assist in the creation of building blocks so it can be used in 3D layouts.
- Mark the ME and EE drawings that will be part of the installation package.
- Create the installation package structure in the VAULT.
- Add bubble tags and detail the drawings when required.
SKILLS
- Proficient in Vault Tool, Sugar and Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Advanced AutoCAD 2D (2010 or higher), 3D Inventor a plus
