Job Description

Required Skills 

The firm seeks an expert resource with relevant work experience and skills in the enterprise risk management domain. The resource will work in a client-facing role and advise clients on enterprise risk management aspects. The candidate is expected to demonstrate high technical and managerial expertise. Below are the experiences and traits the candidate would be assessed upon.

 Technical Experience

• Understanding the risk profile within a FinTech/ Wallet/ Technologyentity and assessing risks emanating from its various business processes. 
• Experience in setting up an ERM department in a FinTech/ Wallet/ Technology organization. 
• Experience with risk managementconcepts with a focus on: 

o compliance risk - to ensure that the organization’s business is guided by the applicable laws and regulations, professional standards, international standards, and acceptable business practices.

 o technology risk – to ensure that the underlying mechanism and related challenges are well understood and effective plans are put in place to avoid any adverse effects on consumers and the systems.

• Compiling and harmonizing control frameworks that offer clarity and enhance coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness. 
• Hands-on experience in the implementation of risk tools. 
• Development of annualstrategic risk management plan. 
• Understanding of leading industry practices and regulatory landscape.
• Guide business teams and the risk management department on aspects related to enterprise risk management. 
• Risk reporting to the stakeholders – including Committees of the Board, Senior Management, and stakeholders in the business.
• Development and implementation of risk framework, policies & operating procedures. Managerial experience
• Experience in managing projects independently. 
• Experience in managing senior management while demonstrating technical expertise and emotional maturity. 
• Innovation as a trait to focus on risk and feasibility, customer-centricity, strategic fit, and social & environmental impact. 

Work Experience & Education: Candidates to have at least 5 years of professional experience in leading consulting firms, specializing in Financial Services Advisory - working or setting up ERM departments in Fin-Techs, Banks, and other Financial Institutions.
