Key function
- Identification and preparation of contractual claims on timely basis
Key Roles Responsibilities
- The Projects Manager will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for managing and delivering the contract administration services.
- Developing the contracts administration department work plan.
- Main point of contact between Advent and project management team in all sites.
- Responsible for submission of Advent deliverables on time and in accordance with Advent Quality standards.
- Ensuring that each contract runs to its highest quality standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he/she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.
- Maintaining consistent and adequate procedures on current and active projects by analysing information and produce overall reporting.
- Prepare and present monthly project expenditure to the MD.
- Working closely with the ‘Project team’ to ensure that the contracts’ administration programmes and reporting is feasible, complies with the clients contractual obligations.
- Collaborating with other disciplines and the Clients’ representative
- Demonstrate an understanding of overall project requirements and the ability to advise management knowledgably on overall project costs.
Requirements
- Degree Qualified
- Knowledge of FIDIC, PPRA and NCC contracts is critical.
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
- 3 years’ experience working in a similar role in the construction industry
- Ability to relate and interact successfully with a cross-cultural workforce at all levels is essential
- Must have outstanding communication skills in written and spoken English and be capable of representing the company on commercial issues with the client.
- High degree of accuracy required
- Must be able to work both independently with a proactive approach and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Should be able to demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
