COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT
POSITION : SHIFT SUPERVISOR
PLANT / SECTION : MNCB
- QUALIFICATION & LENGTH OF EXPERIENCE :
- BSc. / Diploma Chemical Engineer : 3 to 5 yrs.
- BE / MSc. – Chemical : 2 to 3 yrs.
- EXPERIENCE :
- Running of continuous vacuum distillation column
- Trouble shooting related to above
- PLC/DCS/Manual control system
- Handling of various organic chemicals
- Preference would be given to additional experience of running batch chlorination plant
- SKILLS:
- Safe operating practices
- Environment aspects, handling of scrubbing system, good housekeeping practices
- Manpower handling with a team spirit
- Utilities saving, efficient use of steam
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
