Group HR Head

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Group HR Head for Africa on behalf of our client, a leading organization with diverse business interests encompassing Retail, Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction and Trading sectors.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving HR excellence across the group and managing HR teams in multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement HR systems for performance appraisal, incentivization, learning & development, and recruitment.

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 10-12 HR Managers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.

- Oversee HR matters for a significant expatriate workforce comprising 8000 to 10000 employees across different industries.

- Drive HR strategy in line with the group's objectives.

- Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity within the HR function.

- Must have experience managing a diverse group with activities in Manufacturing, Retail, and Trading.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.

- Prior experience in managing a team of 10-12 HR Managers.

- Extensive background in Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction, Retail, and Trading.

- Mandatory experience working in an African business environment.

- Familiarity with HR management for large expatriate workforces.
