Pump Technician (Heavy Pump)

To ensure that job responsibilities shall be performed in adherence to Naqua governing policies, implemented standards (local and international) including all Shrimp Business Unit department. Responsible for operation and maintenance of Heavy Pumps.

PLACE IN THE ORGANIZATION:

Receives general direction from the Manager – Heavy Pumps Section. Exercises maintenance over the equipment under his responsibilities.

1.      Implementing periodic maintenance schedules in coordination with the operations sections for ensuring the efficient operation of the Heavy Pumps, and guaranteeing high performance.

2.      Conducting Pumps maintenance activities as per the set work plans and schedules to ensure proper functioning and prevent any hindrance to the operation process.

3.      Ensuring the proper installation of Pumps  and making sure they are properly operating and functioning

4.      Assist the Equipment Section Manager in developing the section’s yearly budget and monitoring expenses accordingly

5.      Ensure to maximize the usage of the equipment for extending the lifetime.

1.      Calculating and keeping track of the life-cycle of   Pumps,  and ensuring that expired and malfunctioning equipments replaced on time and without hindrance to the operation process

2.      Perform other services that may be assigned from time to time and to render other services that are keeping with the trust and direction of management

3.      Preparing weekly, monthly and periodic reports with respect to section activities and achievements to be submitted to the Section Manager

4.      Installing Floating Pumps and Vertical pumps if requested by End User.
