Engineer - Maintenance

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the
efficient and reliable operation of equipment and machinery
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and develop and execute maintenance
plans to minimise downtime and disruptions
3. Analyse data to identify trends, diagnose problems, and develop solutions to
improve equipment reliability and performance
4. Collaborate with production teams, management, and suppliers to develop and
execute maintenance plans and any development in machines that meet
organizational goals and priorities
5. Ensure that those conducting maintenance activities are in compliance with
safety standards and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential safety
hazards
6. Develop and maintain technical documentation, schematics, and procedures
to support maintenance activities
7. Participate in ongoing training and development of programmers to enhance
skills and knowledge.
8. Conversant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015
9. Attend to all breakdowns, failures or malfunctions swiftly and report to the
leader.
10. Repair or replace broken or defective components, Maintain an equipment,
parts, and supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;
anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting
orders; verifying receipt and approving invoices
11. Perform periodic inspections on plant, machinery and automated systems
12. Forecasting and strategic planning for system overhauls and upgrades, while
taking into account long-term maintenance costs
13. Supervising other engineering and technical staff.
