Position Overview:
As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of cutting-edge electronic hardware systems. You will be responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing electronic circuits and systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Circuit Design: Design and develop electronic circuits, including analog and digital components, to meet project specifications and performance requirements. Experience of Intel FPGA design will be an added advantage.
- Schematic Design: Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using OrCAD.
- Component Selection: Choose appropriate electronic components, such as microcontrollers, sensors, and connectors, based on performance, cost, and availability considerations.
- Prototype Development: Build and test prototypes of electronic hardware systems to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic hardware to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, Product engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that electronic hardware designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations. Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance is desirable but not essential.
- Cost Optimization: Work on cost-effective design solutions without compromising performance and quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in electronic hardware design.
- Proficiency in electronic design software OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Knowledge of microcontroller programming and firmware development is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
