Senior QA Engineer

Job Description:

• Understanding of the QA process for software development, debugging, and release.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases for desktop applications and APIs.
• Evaluate product functionality, usability, performance, security, and compatibility.
• Report and document technical issues, bugs, and test results
• Troubleshoot and debug software problems and help in end-user issue replication.
• Work with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Participating in team building & organizational activities.

Quality Assurance experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8 to 10 years of proven experience as a senior QA engineer
• Experience in testing desktop applications and APIs using tools such as Swagger, Postman, SoapUI, etc.
• Knowledge on Automation testing.
• Experience in working in an agile/scrum environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and QA methodologies
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
• Good English communication.
• Strong active listening skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
