Job Description:

 

Essential Functions:

  • Onboarding: Develop, implement, and oversee a structured onboarding program for new team members, ensuring they understand their roles, company culture, and expectations. Coordinate with the CorporateHR team to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Team Management and Development: Lead and manage the team of finance and accounting professionals based in India, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and commitment to quality.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the delivery of high-quality services within agreed service levels and timelines, monitoring KPIs, and driving initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact between the India office and the Corporate office for all administrative, accounting, and finance matters. Establish and maintain strong relationships to ensure smooth communication.
  • Process Development: Implement best practices and standardized processes across the team to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Financial Oversight: Review the accounting and finance deliverables for accuracy and completeness.  Ensure timely reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize finance and accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the shared services department.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across different departments and geographical locations to support the finance and accounting needs of the global company.
  • Ad hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as required by the Corporate Controller and executive management.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and Director of Finance and other stakeholders to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide support to all Business Units in creating and maintaining operational reporting.
  • Collaborate with international teams as well as other business units to drive best practices.

 

 

Advanced

  1. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)

Intermediate

  1. ERP Systems (M3 or Microsoft F&O preferred) – (Intermediate to Advanced)

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Masters Degree in Business or Financepreferred
  • 3 years Manufacturing and international business experiencepreferred
  • 3 years supervisory experience in an Accounting or Finance role
  • Experience with analyzing and planning workflow
