Job Description:

Job Title :Project Engineer

Division/ Functions :  RFQ Cell Dept

Direct reporting To :  DGM

Qualification : B.E (Mechanical) / DME / ITI

Experience:  3-5 Years

Key Responsibilities       

Technical Feasibility Documentation    

1. Part manufacturing feasibility, machining feasibility, forging manufacturing feasibility, quantum raw materials required. Defining packaging standards, DPAR- design product availability review.

New Product Production Supervision

1. Supervising the production activity of First 3 batches to ensure smooth production process and lower PPM. Setting approval for PPAP and first three batches

Activity time Plan           

1. Sample preparation, Materials receipt, manpower allocation, date of production, date of approval, machine allocation

Programming of Machine

1. Programming of machines for sample preparation and PPAP to ensure FTR

Materials Follow up      

1. Follow-up with purchase for on-time availability of Tooling, Spare parts, consumables, Commercial goods, Fixtures, Gauges required for projects.

FTR, OTD & Cost Attainment

"1. Ensuring First time right development of sample and component

2. on time delivery of sample to customer as per schedule.

4. ensuring all product prepared should be above benchmark cost, reduction in cost where ever possible"

VA/ VE & Cost Reduction initiatives      

1. Value Addition & Value Engineering project to be taken for Cost reduction by  yield improvement,  production process changes, process improvements, design improvements, changes in tool design, etc.

FMEA, Control Plan & Process Capability Study

1. Identification of all potential failure mode and effect analysis of same, Development of all check points for operators in control plan, statistical Analysis of process capabilities

PPM Tracking and reduction      

1. Tracking rejection at development stage in ppm i.e.  PPAP sign off, tracking of in house rejection after 3 lots of SOP, problem solving using root cause analysis, 8D methods, experience directory and learning sheet. Elimination of Defect phenomenon

Documentation

1. Drawing, Process operation sheets, all necessary documentation as per department manuals and customer requirement

Knowledge of software Applicable software like -Solid edge,CAD,UG,Ect

Authority of Employee

PR genration,suppier comunication,customer comunication,conduct audit
