Senior Automation QA Engineer

Job Description:

A QA Engineer with 5+ years of industry experience.

The Senior QA Engineer will be focused on testing large sustain engineering efforts that extend the life of our current platform. The candidate will be proficient with agile development processes and best practices in addition to being an expert in testing JAVA applications and server architecture. They also work with Automation to facilitate maintenance efforts. The Candidate must have completed Bachelor degree in Computer applications or computer engineering.

Experience:
• Candidate must have overall 5+ years of experience in development handling large-scale Application.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.
• Efficiently work in a collaborative team environment
• Responsible for the complete testing, right from the test planning to the test execution.
• Develop test scenarios and test plans.
• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.

Skill set required:
• Manual & Automated Testing
• Test Design and Test Case Execution
• Review and provide feedback on requirements and technical specifications.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.
• Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set.
• Writing Test case specifications, Bug Reports, and end to end system testing.
• Reporting defects and problems that occurred during the test process.
• Preparation of software test evaluation reports.
• Experience on Test automation Tool is a plus
• Exposure to BDD or CUCUMBER or KATALON preferred 

Working Hours/ Shift Timings: 11AM to 8PM

Hybrid Work Culture: 2days from office; 3days from home
