Job Description:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in RTE & RTC, puree, pulp, gravy, concentrated pulp
Responsibilities:
New Product Development (NPD):
- Lead and manage the end-to-end process of new product development in the RTE (Ready-to-Eat) and RTC (Ready-to-Cook) categories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and bring innovative products to market.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure that all NPD activities comply with relevant food safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals for new product launches.
Packing Compliance:
- Oversee the development and implementation of packaging solutions that meet both regulatory requirements and consumer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with packaging standards to maintain product integrity and shelf life.
Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high-quality standards in all products.
Product Testing and Evaluation:
- Plan and execute thorough testing and evaluation procedures for new products, ensuring they meet specified quality benchmarks.
- Address and resolve any issues identified during testing phases.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, marketing, and sales, to align NPD activities with overall business objectives.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products in the RTE and RTC segments.
- Use market insights to drive informed decisions in the product development process.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all NPD activities, including project plans, reports, and compliance records.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress and outcomes of NPD initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 4 years in NPD, specifically in RTE & RTC, puree, pulp, gravy, and concentrated pulp within the FMCG - Food Processing industry.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of food processing regulations and compliance.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of packaging standards and compliance requirements.
- Ability to lead and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
