Job Overview: As a Senior Accountant specializing in IT filing, GST, TDS, and accounts finalization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and efficient management of financial processes. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of accounting activities, and you will be expected to bring expertise in IT filing, GST, TDS, and accounts finalization to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

   • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
   • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for reporting purposes.
   • Provide timely and insightful financial information to support decision-making.

2. IT Filing:

   • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations related to IT filing.
   • Prepare and file income tax returns for the organization, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
   • Address any tax-related queries or audits efficiently.

3. GST Compliance:

   • Manage and oversee the GST compliance process.
   • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns.
   • Stay informed about changes in GST laws and update processes accordingly.

4. TDS Management:

   • Handle TDS compliance, including deduction, payment, and filing of TDS returns.
   • Reconcile TDS accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
   • Keep abreast of TDS rate changes and regulatory updates.

5. Accounts Finalization:

   • Lead the process of accounts finalization at the end of each financial period.
   • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process.
   • Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for various balance sheet and income statement items.

6. Process Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting and tax-related functions.
   • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

7. Compliance Management:

   • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
   • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard financial assets.

8. Team Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to gather necessary information and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant with expertise in IT filing, GST, TDS, and accounts finalization.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
