Job Description:

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

 

  • Experience with major commodities typically procured for global business unit projects recognized Codes and Standards, manufacturing methods, inspection/examination/testing techniques, and technical document review and implementation.
  • Requisite certification as an ANSI/ASME Level II (further to Level I competencies), ASNT Level II in RT/UT/PT/MT/VT and performs the following:

             - Conducts capability surveys of a prospective supplier.

             - Participates as an audit team member or technical resource for quality program audits.

             - Monitors the administrative and technical performance of Third-Party Agency quality surveillance contractor personnel to assure that Corporate Supplier Quality Manual and Procedures and quality surveillance assignment instructions are implemented.

             - Performs hands on inspections to verify by re-examination the efficacy of supplier inspection efforts and to provide assurance of the conformance of equipment or materials to procurement document requirements. 

 

QUALIFICATION:

 

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred) from a reputed institute. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience including in-shop quality surveillance background and working with reputed EPC companies on Oil Refinery, Petrochemicals and LNG Projects.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
