Inspector QC – Paining & Coating

Job Description:

1) Should be familiar with international codes, Aramco standards, inspection and testing requirement for painting and coating
activities.
2) Carry out the inspections as per approved ITP liaise with the client and sub-contractor for all related Quality and inspections.   
3) Review company specifications, drawings, method statements, QC procedures and inspection test plans. Maintain daily reports
and log of daily activities.
4) Review the following procedures: surface preparation, abrasive/ sand blasting, application of painting & coating and repair for
structural and piping etc.   
5) Ensure monitoring/ surveillance activities are being conducted on an ongoing basis to maintain the project standard
requirement.
6) Conduct witness and hold points identified in the quality Inspections, Liaise and checking required inspection and testing.
7) Hands on experience of physical and verification required surface preparation, DFT, WFT etc.      
8) Ensure sub-contractors are generating and providing the required QC documentation on a timely basis.
9) Ensure the materials / equipment’s used are approved by the company and satisfy the requirements and project specifications.
10) Monitor, review and approve Quality Control Documentation progressively compiled during the project to ensure that all
activities are recorded and reported as required.
11) Support the Project Management Team and QC manager / Supervisor.
12) Perform other similar or related duties as and when assigned by the direct supervisor/ manager.
