Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and usability issues
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and specifications
- Investigate and analyze root causes of issues and work with development teams to implement effective solutions
- Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall product quality and development efficiency
- Create and maintain automated test suites using Playwright
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium etc
- Familiarity with version control systems (eg, Git) and issue tracking systems (eg, Jira)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus
Relevant certifications (eg, ISTQB, CSTE) are desirable but not required
