Job Title: IT Auditor

Location: Bahrain

We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Auditor to join our dynamic team in Bahrain. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our information technology environment, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to enhanced IT governance.

Responsibilities:

Audit Execution:

  • Conduct independent, objective, and risk-based audits of IT systems, processes, and controls, adhering to international best practices and relevant Bahraini regulations.
  • Assess IT controls in critical areas, including security, risk management, data privacy, change management, and disaster recovery.

Security Testing:

  • Utilize audit methodologies and tools to perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and other security testing activities.
  • Identify and document IT control weaknesses and potential security risks.

Recommendations and Mitigation:

Develop and implement effective audit recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance control measures.

  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to management and stakeholders.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with regulations such as Central Bank of Bahrain regulations and the National Cybersecurity Framework.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends, threats, and regulations in the Bahraini context.

  • Contribute to the overall development and improvement of the organization's IT audit program.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is mandatory.
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or other relevant IT security certifications are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT audit or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT security principles, frameworks, and controls.
  • Experience with auditing cloud environments and technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using audit software and tools.
