Job Description:

Position Title: Executive in Accounts Department

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive to join our Accounts Department in the Automobile Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a thorough understanding of automotive industry financial practices.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely bank deposits.
Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses against budget allocations.
Process payroll and maintain employee records related to compensation and benefits.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies or issues.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Assist in financial forecasting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in automotive finance and accounting.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience working in accounting or finance roles in the automobile industry.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements specific to the automobile industry is a plus.
Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred but not required.
